Michal Plis

Introduction

Michal is a Polish neurodiverse artist in Melbourne, Australia. Through art he explores feelings, music, nature, space, transparency, glow, micro & macro objects out of scale. His mother, Renata was a fine artist in Koszalin, Poland in the 1980’s then passed away when Michal was 3 years old.

He has had a passion for art making since an early age. He studied and excelled heavily in fine arts in year 10 to 12 and received a TER score of 83.15 to attend the VCA (Victorian College of the Arts) in the year 2000. But due to to long term illness not long after finishing Year 12, he was limited to making art at his home studio but stopped 12 years ago.

Recently after 12 year break he has restarted art making. Refer to michalplis.com/bio for a full biography and his art background history. He would love to be given an opportunity to be considered for art exhibitions (solo and group), art competitions or fairs and any art sales opportunities, so he can pursue art full time in funding art making and studying further under mentorships of experienced artists (his top passion in life besides his faith - which is the most important for him, is being a fine artist).
