Thoughts: My mom died when I was 3 years old and this was a way for an 18 year old painter to try make a picture of her how she would look if she were alive. But it also looks forward to the future where my hope is I will see her again.

I found a Holden Catalog image and it was a template to imagine eith adjustments.
